Save some bucks, Don't Go for Cadillac CTS Higher Trim Package

The 2012 Cadillac CTS is a mid-sized sedan that boasts both performance and luxury. The Cadillac CTS now comes in 3 body types, namely coupe, sedan and station wagon. The CTS has been giving the 3 series, A4, Infinity G37 and the likes some serious competition ever since its launch and even has one of the most impressive engines in the category. The 2012 Cadillac CTS scored well in almost all aspects of comparison except fuel economy! But then again, the performance you get from it is worth it! In the areas of interior and exterior design, build quality, safety, features, etc. the CTS does not fail to make you want the car.

The CTS is easily one of the most attractive vehicles in the segment with its flashy bad boy looks and once you step inside the car, you will be greeted with luxury and quality. The 5 door sedan comes in 2 engine variants, the first one being a 3.0L engine that sheds out 270 of net horsepower and torque of 223 Nm while the other is a more impressive 3.6L engine that boasts 275 bhp of power and high end torque of 318 Nm. These engines come in 2 trims - RWD and Luxury for the 3.0L engine, Performance & Premium trim for the 3.6L engine. The Luxury and the Premium trim is at least $5000 more than the RWD and the performance trims.

As tempting as the higher trims sounds, it would be a better idea to buy the lower trim models and use that money to buy accessories like a factory integrated GPS navigation system. Speaking of which, MVI Inc. does a pretty good job of integrating navigation system onto your 2009-2012 Cadillac CTS. The cool features of Cadillac CTSNavigation System include Bluetooth, satellite radio, USB and aux inputs, steering wheel controls, 7 inch HD touch screen and more. It also has added features like being able to add rear view camera display onto your navi screen, various options of radar detection (WiFi, Wireless 3G or a USB Hub) and the best part is that for a lower price, you get a screen that is bigger than the factory fitted one.
