2014 Factory Navigation on Buick Models

Through advanced technology GM engineers have found ways to enhance and improve entertainment systems.  Specifically focusing on the factory navigation that Buick created we will provide information on the navigation model and how it can be beneficial for your vehicle through safety features and the diverse components the system offers. Features on the 2013 - 2014 include; Ability to add factory navigation to your vehicle minus expensive trim packages, add Traffic and Weather icons for ease of driving conditions (subscription required), works with Bose and Non-Bose systems.

The difference on the 2014 is the interface design and clearer resolution in the screen but also relates a lot to the Cadillac CUE but does not include haptic feedback and only responds to touch. Notably referred to as the “Infotainment” Buick vehicles have set its controls not only on the steering wheel but has different options under the screen as well making it very user friendly reducing seventeen control buttons to seven.  On that note we can also mention the safety features which include the rear vision camera that is linked with the navigation giving you a clear view of objects behind you to prevent any accidents.  The voice controls also make way for safe driving due to the laws that have passed depending by which state you live in, you can now easily communicate to your car stating certain demands rather than looking at the screen and pressing buttons.  Voice communication to your system can also provide an easier way to stay in touch with family and friends.

All in all, GM has realized that advancing the technology with the beautiful redesigned models in their line-up has not disappointed any driver that has passion for the company.  GM engineers have creatively worked on IntelliLink to master this beautiful and user friendly entertainment system for the 2014 Buick Regal and 2014 Buick Lacrosse.
